THE MAGIC OF PITTI MAN

Twice a year, Florence becomes the Men's fashion capital of the world.

The city that hosted the first fashion catwalks, in the famous white room at Palazzo Pitti, is still, after more than 60 years, the place where photographers and magazines from all over the world are watching the new trends and the most elegant men in the world. China, USA, Taiwan, Japan, All of Europe, Mexico, Canada, and many more. People always flock to Florence every year to attend Pitti Uomo.

Why?

Because Pitti Men is not a classic Fashion Week. It's much more. It's a mix of parties, street style high fashion people, catwalks, journalists and photographers, restaurants and sidewalks, in a city that is still walkable and filled all over with Italian atmospheres and styles. It's art, mixed with fashion, with no age and no gender.

No matter if you are 70 or 18, Florence, twice a year, is the place where you have to be, if you love elegance and art.

Here are some instant photo reportage images that I took, that show you the variety of the feelings and the emotions that are in the city of Dante Alighieri during the days of the exhibition.

Your eyes glance up and are greeting by marvellous architecture, like in this pic with a chandelier.

You see beauty everywhere, like in the photo at an old station, Stazione Leopolda, the place where models walk (recently Moschino and others have chose this station), or in the portraits of the models backstage.

Or you can see the night view over the bridge, because the fashion time doesn't end with the catwalks. It's all night long, along the streets of Florence.

This is love for fashion and art, this is Pitti Men.
